The Story
Because why the hell not?
Sourced from 20 barrels.
Adding a drop if water brings out the spice.
The nose is a parade of scents: toasted grains, caramelized sugar, black coffee.
The nose has an undercurrent of honeyed sweetness and malted milk balls.
The palate is nutty and roasty, with candied walnuts, chocolate-covered espresso beans, and that Goose Island malted thing that’s so hard to put into words. IYKYK.
Add water, and it becomes much spicier, showing cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and salted caramel.
The finish is long, toasty, and sweet, with vanilla, roasted grains, and caramel fading luxuriously.
A crowd pleaser, if you have a whiskey group to impress, this is a perfect whiskey to bring and a perfect price point.
